POM GF25 is an engineering-grade acetal reinforced with 25% glass fibers, offering enhanced stiffness, creep resistance, and dimensional stability compared to unfilled POM. Below are its key properties:

1. Mechanical Properties
Tensile Strength: 80-100 MPa (vs. 60-70 MPa for unfilled POM).
Flexural Modulus: 7-9 GPa (high rigidity, ideal for structural parts).
Impact Strength: Moderate (lower than unfilled POM due to fiber brittleness).
Creep Resistance: Excellent (low deformation under long-term load).

2. Thermal Properties
Continuous Use Temp: 85-100°C (short-term up to 140°C).
Melting Point: 165-175°C (avoid prolonged high-temp exposure).
Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE): Reduced by ~50% vs. unfilled POM.

3. Chemical Resistance
Resists fuels, solvents, weak acids/alkalis.
Not suitable for strong acids/oxidizers  
Low moisture absorption (<0.3%) → stable in humid environments.

4. Friction & Wear Resistance
Lower friction than unfilled POM (good for moving parts).
Wear-resistant (suitable for gears/bearings, but may need lubricants).

5. Electrical Properties
Dielectric Strength: ~20 kV/mm (good insulator).
Volume Resistivity: ~10*15Ω·cm.

6. Dimensional Stability
Low shrinkage (0.2-0.5%) → precise molding.
