Product Description

PETG is an amorphous copolyester. In its production process, crystallization is prevented by the replacement of a certain amount of ethylene glycol with 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol (CHDM), which in turn improves processing and transparency. Its products are highly transparent, excellent impact resistance, especially suitable for molding thick-walled transparent products, its processing and molding performance is excellent, can be designed in any shape according to the designer's intentions, may use traditional extrusion, injection molding, blow molding and blister molding methods, can be widely used in plates, sheets, high-performance shrink films, bottles and profiles and other markets, at the same time, its secondary processing performance is excellent, can be modified by conventional machining.

Thermoforming performance
PETG is easy to produce products with complex shapes and large stretch ratios. Moreover, unlike PC and PMMA, it has a short molding cycle, low temperature, and a higher yield rate.
Toughness
PETG extruded sheets are usually 15 to 20 times tougher than general-purpose PMMA. PETG has sufficient bearing capacity during processing, transportation and use to help prevent cracking.
Weather resistance
PETG provides excellent weather resistance. It can maintain the toughness of the product and prevent yellowing. It protects the product from the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays.
Easy processing
PETG is easier to process than general-purpose PMMA or PC, and can be processed by flocking, electroplating, electrostatics, etc.
