PPSU is an amorphous thermoplastic with a high degree of transparency and high hydrolytic stability. Manufactured products can withstand repeated steam sterilization.

Basic properties:

A linear polymer with a slightly amber color. Except for strong polar solvents, concentrated nitric acid and sulfuric acid, it is stable to general acids, alkalis, salts, alcohols and aliphatic hydrocarbons. It is partially soluble in esters and ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons, and soluble in halogen hydrocarbons and DM, and has good rigidity and toughness, temperature and oxidation resistance, excellent creep resistance, resistance to corrosion by inorganic acids, alkalis and salt solutions, resistance to ionic radiation, non-toxic, good insulation and self-extinguishing properties, and easy to mold and process.
