PA12 stands out from more common nylons (PA6, PA66) due to its long hydrocarbon chain, which gives it unique properties:Lowest Moisture Absorption of All Commercial Nylons (~0.7-1.5% at saturation): This is its most significant advantage.
1.Maintains excellent dimensional stability in wet or humid environments.
2.Mechanical and electrical properties remain stable without the need for post-molding conditioning.
3.Far superior to PA6/PA66, which can absorb 8-10% moisture.
4.Excellent Chemical and Hydrolysis Resistance:

7.Good Flexibility and Impact Resistance: Retains toughness at low temperatures (down to -40°C).
