What is the difference between long fiber and short fiber  reinforced plastic?

Compared with ordinary short fiber reinforced thermoplastic materials, the fiber length in ordinary short fiber reinforced thermoplastic materials is less than 1-2 mm, and the thermoplastic engineering plastics produced by the long fiber process have been able to maintain the fiber length above 5-25 mm.
