LDPE is low density polyethylene, also known as high pressure polyethylene, is milky white, tasteless, odorless, non-toxic, and has a lusterless wax-like particle surface. The density is 0.91g/cm3-0.93g/cm3, which is the lightest variety of polyethylene resin. It has good softness, extensibility, electrical insulation, transparency, easy processing and certain air permeability. Its chemical stability performance is good, alkali resistance, resistance to general organic solvents.

LDPE is mainly used in the manufacture of containers, dispensing bottles, washing bottles, pipes, computer components plastic bags and various moulding laboratory equipment.The most popular application of LDPE is plastic bags.
