High Strength & Stiffness: From the PBT base and GF30 reinforcement.
Excellent Flame Safety: The V0 rating is essential for electronics and electrical components to prevent fire propagation.
Good Heat Resistance: Typical Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT @ 1.8 MPa) can be ~200-220°C, allowing it to withstand soldering processes like reflow soldering.
Fast Processing: PBT crystallizes quickly, leading to short mold cycle times. The injection grade formulation enhances this.
Excellent Dimensional Stability: Low moisture absorption compared to nylon (PA), so parts maintain dimensions and electrical properties in humid environments.
Good Chemical Resistance: Resists oils, fuels, solvents, and weak acids/bases.
Good Electrical Insulation Properties: Maintains dielectric strength and volume resistivity, even at high temperatures and humidity.

Process conditions
Drying treatment: This material is easily hydrolyzed at high temperatures, so drying before processing is very important. The recommended drying conditions in the air are 120°C for 6 to 8 hours, or 150°C for 2 to 4 hours. Humidity must be less than 0.03%. If drying with a hygroscopic dryer, the recommended conditions are 150°C, 2.5 hours.
Melting temperature: 225~275ºC, recommended temperature: 250ºC.
Mold temperature: 40~60ºC for unreinforced materials. The cooling cavity of the mold must be well designed to reduce the bending of the plastic part. The heat must be dissipated quickly and evenly. It is recommended that the diameter of the mold cooling cavity is 12mm.
Injection pressure: medium (up to 1500bar).
Injection speed: The fastest possible injection speed should be used (because PBT solidifies quickly).
Runner and gate: It is recommended to use circular runner to increase pressure transmission. Hot runners can also be used, but care should be taken to prevent leakage and degradation of materials. The gate diameter should be between 0.8~1.0*t, where t is the thickness of the plastic part. If it is a submersible gate, the recommended minimum diameter is 0.75mm.
