The feel of 0-degree TPE material is close to that of silicone. It is generally used in two molding methods: injection molding or pouring. It is mainly used to produce sex toys, toys, gel cushions, and car anti-skid mats.
The injection molding efficiency of 0-degree TPE is relatively low because the hardness is too low and the processed product shrinks greatly, with a shrinkage rate of 1.6~2.0%. Water streaks will appear on the surface. The recommended injection molding temperature is between 120-150 degrees Celsius. The particles of 0-degree materials are all sticky, which may cause feeding difficulties during the production process. We recommend that injection molding manufacturers lower the temperature in the discharge port area and use push-type auxiliary feeding, such as pressing down with a stick, which is direct and effective. A forced feeder can also be installed, using a high speed and low feeding method. The heating section of the unloading area is closed.
