Features and Applications
1. Characteristics
a. Sulfone resin is an amorphous thermoplastic:
High transparency;
High hydrolysis stability: The product can withstand repeated steam disinfection (with a lifespan of at least 12 years under steam at 145 ºC);
b. Rigidity and toughness: can maintain physical, mechanical, and electrical properties over a wide range.
c. Continuous use temperature:
PSF (PSU): 140 ºC;
PES: 180 ºC;
d. Unique flame retardancy, low smoke generation, and chemical resistance, as well as high melt viscosity during processing, make it easy to produce products with uniform performance.
2. Applications
Mainly used in electronic and electrical, food utensils, dairy processing equipment, and some daily necessities, automotive, aviation, medical, and general industrial sectors:
Various contactors, connectors, transformer insulation parts, thyristor caps, insulation sleeves, coil skeletons, terminal blocks, printed circuit boards, shaft sleeves, covers, TV system components, capacitor films, brush holders, alkaline battery boxes, and wire and cable covers.
Can be used as protective cover components, electric gears, battery covers, aircraft internal and external spare parts, spacecraft external protective covers, camera baffles, lighting components, sensors.
Replacing glass and stainless steel for steam plates, coffee containers, microwave cooks, milk containers, milking parts, beverage and food dispensers.
In terms of sanitary and medical equipment, there are surgical plates, spray, humidifiers, dental instruments, flow controllers and laboratory instruments, which are used as adhesives with high bonding strength for veneering, and as pump covers, tower external protective layers, acid resistant nozzles, pipes, valve containers, etc. in chemical equipment.
